About
Lilian Liu is an award-winning sustainability strategist and director, named Greenbiz 30 Under 30 class of 2020 and Grist 50. With almost a decade and a half in the impact space, she has worked with some of the world’s most influential companies on ESG, social and environmental sustainability.
Lilian was the first sustainability hire at Braze, where she established the company's ESG programs from scratch. Before that, she was the Senior Strategist at Futerra in New York and led corporate partnerships at the United Nations Global Compact, uniting leading businesses, the UN, and governments to further the Sustainable Development Goals.
Lilian is a frequent speaker at places like Trellis, New York Times, Harvard University, and the UN. She sits on advisory boards of startups and NGOs, including EarthPercent, SparkLabs, and Pledge 1%.
With a multi-cultural background from her Swedish upbringing, Chinese heritage, and calling New York home for over a decade, Lilian brings unique global insight to her work.
